Senior School (Years 7-11)

Dulwich Prep Cranbrook is launching an exciting expansion to include Years 9, 10 and 11, to offer families an academically ambitious, forward-looking, co-educational day school from Nursery through to GCSE.

The Dulwich senior school will give students the opportunity to study a wide range of GCSEs, supported by exceptional pastoral care and a real focus on the individual. The first cohort will progress into Year 9 in September 2023; they will move through the school to be our first Year 11 students, taking GCSE examinations in the Summer of 2026.

We will offer a wide range of GCSE options for our students. There will be the core subjects, which are the bedrock of a rigorous education – English Language and Literature, Maths and the three Sciences. There will be the opportunity to support these with History, Geography, French, Spanish, Latin, ICT (fundamental in 21st century), and RS, Philosophy and Ethics.

Additional options will build on Dulwich’s strong reputation for Fine Art, Ceramics and Textiles, PE, Music, Drama, Dance and Design Technology.

For enquiries relating to admission into the senior section of the school (Year 7 and Year 8 entry from September 2022, and Year 9 entry from September 2023)  please contact Georgie Labram and Clare Holson on admissions@dulwichprepcranbrook.org or 01580 712179.

Pioneers discount

Our fees for Years 9 – 11 will mirror those of Years 7 and 8, and for the first three years, parents will benefit from a ‘pioneer’ discount of 10%, making our academically ambitious, forward-looking, co-educational day school, with an individual focus through to GCSE, an even more attractive option.

Inspiring Spaces

We will be creating inspiring spaces for our older students – where they have their own indoor and outdoor areas to relax between lessons, away from the younger years.

Like all our school buildings, it will be purpose built around the 21st century student’s need.

There will be spaces that encourage collaboration, serendipity and independent study.  There will be lots of natural light and indoor planting to enhance wellbeing, with a communal café at its heart where students can relax, study and eat, before, during and after school hours, until 8.00 pm.  This will open out onto Manor Lawn and the Rose Garden, providing a stunning vista and a comfortable and welcoming environment for our senior students to socialise.

There will be state of the art lecture facilities, remodelled classroom spaces and break-out study areas, all as eco-friendly as possible, with natural ventilation and sunlight.

We’re excited to expand the school

We are really excited about the prospect of overseeing this expansion of the school over the coming years.  Students will benefit enormously from a dedicated teaching team, offering real choice of study through to GCSE, alongside proven pastoral support and an important focus on student wellbeing.  The environment will be comfortable and inspiring and will help support growing independence of thought and action amongst our oldest students.  They will be treated as young adults, with a chance to lead and develop personal responsibility through these important teenage years.
