Palisander Recorder Group visit

Four talented young recorder players visited Little Stream, bringing with them a vast array of recorders of all sizes. Their talents shone through as they played all styles of music – from music traditionally associated with the recorder through to the contemporary style. One of the performers even played two recorders at the same time! What a treat for all 150 children, to play Battle Pavane together, a piece especially arranged for Little Stream by the group, cleverly catering for all levels of ability.

The workshops ran throughout the day and finished in a fantastic concert which allowed the large audience to realise the potential of the recorder. It is not just a school instrument after all!
