Little Stream Tribe Poetry competition

A thrilling morning last week in Little Stream, where we reached the final of the Tribe Poetry competition. In the run up to the event every child learnt a poem by heart and recited it to their Tribes. Those going forward to the final then performed in assembly in front of judges Mr David, Mrs Prynne and Mrs Whiting. There was a wonderful array of poems from Spike Milligan to Edward Lear, Julia Donaldson to Walter de la Mare.

The judges had a very hard task picking winners, and gave some great feedback to all the children on their performances. The joint tribe winners were the Chippeways and Deerfeet. Very well done to all the children for working so hard learning their poems.
