Some exciting trips and expeditions this term, with our intrepid Year 7 walking the High Weald trail before learning how to build their own shelter in the woods. Most of them even slept in their shelters overnight, despite the chilly weather. A series of challenges saw the children learning bushcraft and survival skills, as well as the importance of teamwork and co-operation.
Meanwhile Year 5 held their Big Camp in the school grounds, where the children learnt to pitch their tents before a night under canvas. The next day was full of outdoor activities ranging from blindfold challenges in the woods to catapults. Very well done, all of you.
