Carol service rounds off a successful term

Our traditional carol service at St Dunstan’s Church in Cranbrook last night marked the end of term and the start of the Christmas holidays.

The beautiful candlelit church provided the perfect backdrop for the worship which featured some lovely musical pieces. Year 4 Choir confidently sang ‘Sound The Trumpet’, and other highlights included Senior and Junior Chamber Choir with Britten’s ‘This Little Babe’ and Years 5 & 6 Choirs with ‘Ring the Bells’ by Larsen.  Spine tingling solos in Once in Royal David’s City and In the Bleak midwinter added to the atmosphere.

Video of Junior and Senior Chamber Choir recorded at the afternoon rehearsal in the church.

We wish you all a very Happy Christmas and a lovely holiday. The Spring Term begins on Wednesday, 9th January.
