Senior School SENCO & Learning Strategies Manager
We are an independent day and flexible boarding school for girls and boys aged 3 to 13 years, nestled in the beautiful Kent countryside approximately an hour out of London. From September 2023, we are expanding the school to include Years 9, 10 and 11. The first cohort will progress into Year 9 in September 2023; they will move through the school to be the school’s first Year 11 students, taking GCSE examinations in the Summer of 2026.
Students will benefit enormously from an dedicated teaching team, offering real choice of study through to GCSE, alongside proven pastoral support and an important focus on student wellbeing. We will offer an academically ambitious forward-looking, co-educational day school providing students with the opportunity to study a wide range of GCSEs.
We are now seeking an inspirational and enthusiastic SEND professional to join us who will play a key role in the development of the senior school over the coming years. You will be an experienced SENCO with the skills to further develop and implement the senior school SEND strategy ensuring that the teaching and learning, achievements, attitudes and wellbeing of every child in the senior school matters. A willingness to participate in the extra-curricular and pastoral life of our vibrant and dynamic school is essential.
