12 Hour Charity Swimathon

The whole school 12 hour charity Swimathon started in fine style at 9.00 am, with a staff tribe relay. Upper School children enjoyed cheering on their tribe and hats off to all the staff who braved the water. The swimming then continued all day, with children swimming through their lessons.

A super Family Party kicking off poolside, organised by the Friends of Dulwich Prep. The BBQ, ice creams and drinks all went down a treat, accompanied by the school Jazz Band. There were lots of activities including tug of war, welly wanging, bouncy castle and children’s disco. It was huge fun, and continued pretty much up until the last swimmer completed their laps at 9.00 pm that evening. One intrepid parent even committed to swim 6K, a fantastic effort. A perfect example of the whole school community coming together to have fun and raise funds for local worthwhile causes.
